Our flight was on time, and we reached Australia at the scheduled time. After the routine check out procedure, we came out to the magnificent Sydney. A driver from our pre-booked hotel with a placard of my name was standing out, waiting for us. On reaching him, he greeted us well and then we moved in the cab to our place of stay- The Westin hotel of Sydney. Soon we reached the glorious hotel. This five star hotel indeed holds a very beautiful architecture. This multistoried business hotel was located close to Pitt Street Mall, the Martin Place, and the Sydney Parliament House.
We reached the front desk to confirm the room bookings, and after a few formalities, we were ushered to our room. Ours was a tower twin deluxe room at the 12th floor. The staff was very polite. The staff member unlocked our room and managed our luggage. The room was very luxurious and impressively decorated. The furniture was elegant and everything in room was well chosen and positioned. The contemporary glass and steel décor was adding to the grace of the room. As we were with two kids, the room offered to us had two heavenly double beds. The comfort amenities provided were unmatchable. The beds were cozy with triple sheets.
There was a 37 inch television set with DVD player was installed in the room. A coffee/tea maker and a refrigerator were also furnished. The climate control of the room was creating a pleasant atmosphere and the floor-to-roof windows were giving a magnificent view of the city. It was truly a fabulous stay. Divya, my wife, was exploring the room and the kids had already occupied their bed. They were extremely tired with the jet lag, owing to the long journey. We refreshed and ordered coffee for us, and hot chocolate for kids (after all they are on vacation)
The room service was quick and we were soon served with aromatic strong coffee and steaming cups of hot chocolate, along with some cookies and snacks. The coffee did work on reducing the travel fatigue, but we all, without realizing, dozed off on the comfy beds to restore our energy.
